A group of five GE Healthcare employees led by local resident Paul Nolan assisted in planting a Wildflower Meadow behind the new beech hedge along the Ashbourne Pond last Wednesday.
Thanks to Cork Co. Council and their contractor Airtricity for reinstating and re-seeding the roadside margin opposite the Ashbourne Walkway following the street lighting project completion.
A number of Litter Awareness sessions for school pupils were carried out by Conor O’Brien and Terry Fleming at Gaelscoil Ui Drisceoil during the week.
